The Power Hour + Camp is ideal for hockey players looking to improve on the basic fundamentals of the game. Each day players will spend two hours on the ice with instruction geared towards developing each player’s individual skills with emphasis on power skating, puck handling, passing/receiving, and shooting.
The camp, designed and directed by Bruce Turpin, creates an innovative and progressive training environment built to improve the mastery of the skills fundamental to the game of hockey.
We will address:
The Plus Skills component will reinforce the above skating skills with the puck on your stick. You will be forced into controlling the puck, shooting, passing, deception and puck protection at low-, high- and over- speeds. Tips and techniques will be taught to help players learn how to make adjustments with their hands, body and stick to help maintain control of the puck as much as possible.
